*Job Summary* The Sound Connections Literacy and Language Centre is looking to hire a part time instructor. We are looking for someone who is interested in working a few evenings a week ( 3pm - 8pm) and hopefully available for a few hours on Sundays, starting in January but able to start training in Dec. Students come for 45 minute sessions. Sound Connections works with students from 3yrs old and upwards who struggle with reading, writing, spelling and or speech/language. We use a fun, play based, multi-sensory approach. Our students range from advanced kids to kids with high learning needs including things like Dyslexia, speech delays, ADD/ADHD, Autism, developmental delays, ESL and more. If you are fun, dynamic, energetic and enjoy working with students in a small group and/or one on one setting and want to do something different, you'll love it. If you have experience working with/teaching children, qualifications in Early Childhood Education, certification and experience as an EA, a Bachelor of Education Degree, (or working towards one) please send your resume to Lisa.
