*Job Overview* We are seeking Framers, Framing helpers, to join our team. Framers, also known as carpenters. We work around Victoria, Kelowna and Alberta. we construct the wooden frames of buildings, measuring and cutting lumber, and assembling the materials *Duties:* * *Reading Blueprints and Plans*: * *Measuring and Cutting Materials*: * *Building Wall, Roof, and Floor Frames*: * *Placing and Securing Studs and Beams*: * *Installing Sheathing and Subflooring*: * *Building Openings for Doors and Windows*: * *Ensuring Structural Integrity*: * *Collaborating with Other Construction Trades*: * *Inspecting Work for Quality and Compliance*: * *Maintaining Tools and Equipment*: * *Following Safety Practices*: *Qualifications* - Allowed to work in Canada (Work Visa as minimum) - Experience in Framing 1 year minimum - Available to work out of town - Having own tools is a Plus - Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines - Committed to follow all safety procedures - Familiarity with Project management practices is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00 per year Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-11-25 Expected start date: 2024-11-29- LocationCalgary, AB
