Mark defects. Measure or weigh products. Package products. Prepare samples. Record information on products inspected or graded. Repair minor defects. Sort products by style, colour, size, length or other criteria. Trim excess material, remove spots and lint. Textile products for inspection, grading or sampling: Fabric. Textile products. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colours. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Hand-eye co-ordination. Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
