Not at TD, anyway.Job Description :About This RoleThe Cloud, Digital Client & Platform Modernization (CDP) group at TD Securities is seeking an experienced Engineer to help build a robust technical solution to support a new initiative within the TD Securities technology group. The core mission of the solution we build is to help the organization quantify, understand, and manage thematic technology topics which include audit findings, security risk and platform modernization.We are looking for someone to lead the creation of a comprehensive end-to-end detailed solution with overall accountability for the technical design and delivery of the technical solution You will be exposed to stretch assignments as you take on large-scale and complex initiatives/projects.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and implementation of a new technical solution by understanding the problem statement, technical requirements and working with various cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.Develop functional and easy-to-use interface designs for the solution that meets defined business requirements and ensure they are aligned with architecture, development and security standards.Work with various stakeholders to complete day-to-day development activities required to ensure the technical deliverables are met in a timely manner.Review technical deliverables throughout the delivery of the solution to ensure quality adherence and identify any gaps or re-design that may be needed.Manage defect resolution by collaborating with relevant stakeholders to understand the problem, to shift from finding issues to proactively preventing defects.Maintain and enhance existing solution to ensure high performance, scalability, and security.Ensure technical documentation remains up-to-date with the latest information, procedures, and changes to allow for accurate records.Continuously identify and evaluate areas for improvement or automation within the engineering practice to enhance overall performance and security.Gain knowledge in the relevant technical areas, stay abreast of technology trends and developments, develop expertise in TD services, applications, infrastructure, analytical tools and techniques, business domains and their products and services.Job Requirements :What can you bring to TD?
