*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HARP Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. * Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before each procedure. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. * Maintain inventory of supplies. * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care. *Skills* * Proficiency in Dental Assisting techniques, with experience in Endodontics or Oral Surgery being a plus. * Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental practices. * Experience with Dentrix dental software is preferred. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff. * Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy environment.
