*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Foreman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervises and coordinates the activities of a team of electricians to ensure that electrical installations electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance are completed on time and according to safety standards. This role involves managing projects, providing technical guidance, and ensuring that all work complies with electrical codes and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Foreman Electrician will work closely with other tradespeople and supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
*Duties*
* Lead, supervise, and manage a team of electricians on project.
* Ensure that work is performed in compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and Electrical codes.
* Provide direction, mentorship, and technical assistance to electricians and apprentices.
* Monitor work performance and ensure that productivity goals are met.
* Assist in the planning and scheduling of electrical work on construction sites.
* Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other construction personnel to ensure smooth workflow.
* Oversee the timely completion of electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
* Ensure the proper use of materials, tools, and equipment, ordering supplies as needed.
* Inspect completed electrical work to ensure it meets the required quality standards and adheres to safety guidelines.
* Conduct regular safety audits on-site and implement corrective measures when necessary.
* Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to any problems that arise during the course of the project.
* Promote a safe working environment and ensure the team adheres to safety protocols and practices.
* Provide ongoing safety training and guidance to team members.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, time logs, and materials used.
* Prepare and submit reports on project progress, safety incidents, and team performance.
* Report any delays, issues, or concerns to upper management or project supervisors.
* Communicate directly with clients to clarify job requirements and ensure expectations are met.
* Address client concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
*Experience*
* Proven experience as an Electrician in residential and commercial is required.
* Familiarity with supervising teams and managing projects is preferred.
* Strong skills in blueprint reading, quality control processes, and construction estimating are essential.
* Proficiency in using construction management software such as Bluebeam or ProCore is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00-$44.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
