Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor the successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks in a rotational shift setting At Cascades, *Sustainable Development* means *Respecting the True Nature* of our 10,000 talents. We put you first: * *Salary: $43.16/hr * * *Shift premium: $0.55/hr for 3pm-11pm shifts; $1.50/hr for 11pm-7am shifts * * *Schedule: 12 hour rotating continental shift * * Profit sharing plan * Telemedicine, Group insurance and pension plan with company contributions * Employee assistance program _(because we care about the physical and mental health of our people)_ * Annual flexible reimbursement program *Develop your talents* by applying your expertise within our facility in Concord/Vaughan, as the Electrician: * Work in safe manner at all times * Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment according to PM schedule * Execute electrical repairs according to specifications and verbal direction * Implement improvements and/or modifications to existing equipment * Identify and perform corrective maintenance that could lead to downtime or line stoppage * Provide detailed information regarding any required parts or tools that may be required * Perform PLC installations, integration, improvements, modifications and start ups for the production line * Troubleshoot PLC drivers and controls * Document findings for future reference *There's nobody quite like you!* Respect your true nature by putting forward your strengths: * Must be a licensed Industrial Electrician (442A) * Experience with PLC logic in the following: Siemens and Allen Bradley * Familiar with material handling systems, conveyor systems, pumps, gearboxes, drive systems and industrial automation * Experience using tools specific to the trade * Previous experience in a manufacturing environment considered an asset * Thorough understanding of Lock-Out/ Tag-Out * Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization * Ability to read electrical prints and OEM documentation * Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems * Understand the cause and effect of downtime to the production line *We look forward to meeting you! * *#respectyourtruenature #revealyourpotential #LifeAtCascades* _Cascades believes in the success of an inclusive organization that values diversity within its team.
