Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Furniture manufacturing company. Tasks: Set up, program and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines. Operate gluing machines to glue pieces or wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Equipment and machinery experience: Computerized woodworking machine. Drills. Gluing machines. Planers. Routers. Sanders. Saws. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination.
