Automotive, transportation and specialty mechanics - - Brandt is currently seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician - Material Handling for the Material Handling division at our Brossard Construction & Forestry location.The Preventative Maintenance Technician - Material Handling is responsible for completing on-site preventative maintenance services and repairs on the functional parts of all mechanical equipment at customer sites, utilizing state of the art technologies. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Performing all levels of Preventative Maintenance services on a scheduled basis in a professional manner.- Identify issues with malfunctioning equipment, analyze the root causes, and devise appropriate solutions for repairs, replacements, or adjustments.- Identify and report on additional items identified that require follow-up service work by a service technician.- Ensuring the accurate capture and reporting of PM service checklist, inspections, and work order information for the benefit of customer reporting.- Work directly with the customers and equipment operators.- Utilize hoists, forklifts, power tools, cranes, loaders, vehicles, and manual tools for operational tasks.- Operate machinery to evaluate its performance and verify the effectiveness of repairs or adjustments made.- Other duties as assigned.Required Skills:- Proven experience contributing to a service-oriented environment.- Motivated, energetic, and strong written and oral communication skills.- High degree of mechanical aptitude.- Willing to work after-hours and/or participate in shiftwork as required to support customer needs.- Class D license required.- Must have experience operating, servicing, and/or maintaining material handling equipment.- High School Diploma or equivalent experience- LocationBrossard, QC
