JOB VACANCY <p>TRANSFER/EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY <p>Competition #: # 35B- 2024 - 2025<p>Position: Educational Assistant <p>Description: BCGEU <p>Location: FNSS <p> Status: Part Time Regular Appointment .4829 (3 hrs & 22 Mins) daily @ 26.34/hr <p>Education Assistants work to support our priority students with a variety of learning and/or social, emotional, and behavioural needs, as well as provide general supervision in the school. Applicants should have an inclusive, positive, and supportive attitude; be willing to learn; have a flexible and growth mindset; identify and work with student strengths; and a desire to help each student find a pathway to success. Applicants must be willing to work with any assigned student in a variety of school settings, and able to support students for success in all subject areas. May need to participate in swimming program.<p> Qualifications: <p>1.Secondary School graduation.<p>2.Previous experience in working with children.<p>3.Ability to organize work effectively.<p>4.Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.<p>5.Ability to handle and maintain all information with a high degree of confidentiality.<p>6.Equivalent combination of training and experience.<p>7.Familiarity with Indigenous culture is an asset.<p>8.Clear Criminal Record Check. <p>Closing Date: <p>Interested applicants should submit a detailed resume, 3 professional references, and any relevant documentation outlining their qualifications by 1:30 pm on Monday, December 2, 2024.Apply to: Make a Future Posting Date: November 26, 2024- LocationFort Nelson, BC
