*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Asphalt Raker to join our team. The Asphalt Raker plays a crucial role in the paving process, ensuring that asphalt is evenly distributed and properly finished for high-quality road surfaces. This position requires 2 years experience, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. *Responsibilities* * Operate heavy equipment to assist in the paving process, ensuring precision and quality in asphalt application. * Rake and spread asphalt materials to achieve a smooth and even surface. * Collaborate with crew members to build and pave roadways, parking lots, and other surfaces as needed. * Monitor the temperature of the asphalt to ensure optimal conditions for application. * Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition. * Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment at all times. *Skills* * Proficiency in heavy equipment operation related to paving activities. * Experience in paving techniques and processes, with a focus on building durable surfaces. * Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. * Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with crew members. * Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
