Field Service Mechanical Engineer Salary: Depending on experience Location: Ottawa, ON Duration: Fulltime, Permanent Overview: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum five years of mechanical engineering experience. Professional Engineer designation or eligibility for accreditation. Ability to travel internationally (60-90 days) with a valid Canadian passport is required. Responsibilities: Apply advanced engineering knowledge to design and manufacture irradiator components, including safety analyses, testing, and process improvements. Manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring budgets, timelines, and functionality requirements are met. Approve designs to meet engineering, safety, quality, and regulatory standards for dry and wet storage irradiators.
