Job details
CNC brake operator to form steel parts as per drawing using a 250 ton brake press . We are looking for someone with the following characteristics: · At least 1 year experience operating a brake press · Work well independently or as part of a team · Ability to prioritize and multi-task · Proven reliability ? i.e., attendance, comes to work on time · Attention to detail · Willingness to learn *Responsibilities* * Operate and set up brake press machines to shape metal components according to specifications. * Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production. * Conduct quality inspections to maintain high standards of finished products. * Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations. * Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency. * Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 44 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person- LocationElmira, ON
