Qualifications: * have their Early Childhood Education Certificate and be registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (_*required*_) * hold a current criminal check and be certified in CPR/First Aid (*required*) * have a current vulnerable criminal check (*required*) * have an update-to-date immunization record (*required*) * have a minimum two years of experiences in child care settings (*required*) * have knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education * have experience in the preschool or the toddler child care settings * be sensitive and flexible individual who is able to relate well to both children and adults * be in a good physical and emotional condition to cope with day to day physical activities of young children and endure any emergency situations if such arise * enjoy and is able to work in a team teaching environment * have the personality and ability to provide leadership and stability for program continuity * Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Responsibilities: * Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for young children * Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow * Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities * Maintain open and effective communication with parents and families * Assess and monitor the progress of each child and provide individualized support as needed * Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning community * Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials * Follow all licensing regulations and maintain accurate records We offer competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience.
