Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Private school. Remote location. Willing to relocate. Relocation costs covered by employer. Tasks: Discuss results and students' progress with them, their parents and school officials. Evaluate and document students' progress . Participate in educational conferences and teacher training workshops. Provide tutoring assistance. Assign and correct homework. Develop course content. Identify childrens' individual learning needs. Lead students in activities to promote their physical, mental and social development and their school readiness. Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help. Prepare subject material for presentation according to an approved curriculum. Prepare, administer and correct tests. Teach students using lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations and field trips. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Emergency child care first aid and CPR. Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Child Abuse Registry check. Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Large workload. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus.
