*Job Overview:* PT with the possibility of leading to FT We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, conducting oral examinations, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. If you are passionate about dental health and providing exceptional patient care, we would love to hear from you. *Duties:* - Perform thorough dental cleanings, including removing plaque and tartar buildup - Conduct oral examinations to identify any signs of dental diseases or abnormalities - Take and develop dental x-rays as needed - Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants to protect teeth - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition - Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials - Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as needed - Sterilize dental instruments and equipment following infection control protocols - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care - iTero scanning/Invisalign experience -Dental laser use. *Requirements:* - Valid Dental Hygiene license in [state] - Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist - Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures - Familiarity with Curve or similar dental software systems - Knowledge of pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and medical terminology is a plus - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals - Previous experience working in a dental office is highly desirable To apply for this position, please submit your resume along with a cover letter highlighting your relevant experience in the field of dental hygiene.
