Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive plumbing knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: - Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and heating systems. - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing installations or layouts. - Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions. - Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and regulations. - Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on job sites. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment. - Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs. Qualifications and Requirements: - Valid Journeyman Plumber License or equivalent certification. - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a journeyman plumber. - Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques. - Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Valid driver?s license and clean driving record. - Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with HVAC systems is a plus. - Knowledge of energy-efficient plumbing practices. - Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations.
