We are looking for a hard working server for Japanese restaurant located by Pearson Airport in the Delta Marriott Hotel. We are a family owned and operated establishment. Individual must work well under pressure and multitask, have good communication skills, good people skills, good teamwork skills, is attentive to details and willing to learn and grow on the job. Appreciation and knowledge of Japanese cuisine is preferred. Experience is preferred but not necessary as long as you're willing to work hard to learn. Servers are responsible for greeting and seating guests, learning and explaining the menu to customers, taking orders and inputting into the POS system, serving food and drinks, cleaning of tables/dinning area/bar including floors, dealing with customer requests and complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction. Starting shifts will focus on Mon-Wed with more shifts becoming available over time. Both lunch and dinner shifts are available. Staff meal is provided at the end of each shift. Lunch Shift (Tues-Fri): 11:00am to 2:00pm~ Dinner Shift (Mon-Sun): 4:30pm/5:30pm to 9:30pm~ Salary: $17.50 per hour plus pooled tips. Looking to hire by December 6th 2024.
