We are seeking a full-time Master Electrician that is passionate about energy and sustainability. The ideal candidate is a Professional Electrician with a strong background in LED retrofits and new construction. The candidate will be part of an entrepreneurial and growing team, who is able to be hands-on, and who strives to take ownership over what they do.</p><p>The Master Electrician will gain essential knowledge and exposure to all areas of the business. TGL is committed to investing time and resources in developing the Electrician's skills and experience in order to advance to more senior positions within the company.</p><p> </p><p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong></p><p>The Master Electrician will work closely with the Operations Teams to support all technical aspects of project delivery from concept/proposal through to final completion. The Master Electrician will also play an essential role in supporting and implementing the design, permitting, construction, and commissioning of commercial and residential LED projects.</p><p><strong>KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Install electrical wiring, conduit, and systems on construction projects</li><li>Troubleshooting electronic systems and conducting preventive maintenance programs</li><li>Understand the requirements of LED system design and lighting control interconnection</li><li>Liaising with clients, vendors, and other electricians</li><li>Perform project closeout, including electrical system testing</li><li>Participate in the equipment selection and procurement</li><li>Being comfortable with new construction and retrofit project</li><li>Incorporation of safety policies within each project</li><li>Utilize knowledge of A/C and D/C systems</li><li>Works within a team environment to complete project assignments</li><li>Administration duties/ tasks as required and all other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & KEY COMPETENCIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with the following voltages: 600, 480, 208, 240</li><li>Experience working with the following amperages: 60a - 1,600a</li><li>Knowledge and experience working on commercial electrical projects</li><li>Time management skills</li><li>Organization and prioritization skills</li><li>Pays strong attention to detail</li><li>Willingness to learn new skills</li><li>Strong interpersonal and written communication skills</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software application is an asset</li><li>Demonstrate leadership qualities and ability to work independently, make decisions, and take responsibility for technical matters</li><li>Have excellent problem solving and decision-making skills</li><li>Self-motivated</li><li>Ability to lift 50lbs</li><li>Knowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and possesses a strong safety focus</li></ul><p><strong>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be a licensed Master Electrician</li><li>Valid Ontario driver's license</li><li>Must be able to travel throughout the province and stay away from home for extended periods of time.</li><li>Valid working at Heights Certification</li></ul><p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER:</strong></p><p>TGL offers a generous employee reward package that includes:</p><ul><li>Competitive compensation & annual bonuses</li><li>Continuous training and professional development</li></ul><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Master Electrician:</li></ul><p><span class="long-word">Licence/Certification:</span></p><ul><li>Red Seal (preferred)</li><li
