The candidate would be responsible for preparing food, receiving grocery orders and putting groceries away. Schedule would be approximately 16-24 hours per week. Willing to work weekends. Shifts are from approximately 10:30-6:00 per shift. Location is in West Hamilton. We are open 365 days a year and serve clients over holidays. We are looking for someone who cares about the food they prepare and ensures that the food is enjoyable for the people they are catering to. Attention to detail is a must. Knowledge of food safety is important to the person hired. *Tasks in addition to the above* Warming food, making salads Clean kitchen, serving area and dishes Able to work independently We are looking for someone that is reliable, punctual and has a positive attitude. Experience working with food preferred and food handlers certificate. *Responsibilities:* Warming pre-cooked food, preparing salads and veggie trays as per stated menu. Set food out buffet style for clients anywhere from 15 -25 people for a lunch and dinner. Clean up after meal. (dishes, sweeping etc) Maintain a clean kitchen and serving area *Key Skills* time management, able to multi task, ensure that the work environment is clean, mature and responsible, able to follow kitchen procedures and keep kitchen clean and organized. Preferred Candidate Has Food Handling Certificate WHMIS or willing to do online training Prior Food Handling experience Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: From $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 16 ? 24 per week Benefits: * Casual dress * On-site parking Schedule: * 8 hour shift Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-12-09- LocationHamilton, ON
