Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Installation. Repair. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Measure and mark sheet metal according to template. Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal. Operate laser cutters. Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces. Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification. Develop computerized pattern and layout. Cut materials using power tools or by hand. Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment. Fit and join sheet metal parts. Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes. Specialization or experience: Custom sheet metal items. Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Personal suitability: Organized. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Other benefits: Other benefits.
