Morskate Manufacturing is actively recruiting a motivated *Delivery Driver *to join our dynamic team of professionals*. *Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for loading, transporting and delivering items to clients in a safe in timely manner. Specializing in structural, agricultural and custom orders, we take pride in the ability to be adaptable and flexible when designing and building orders to meet the customers exact requirements. If you want to be able to take pride in the quality, service, and creativity of your work, Morskate is the place for you! *Duties* * Maintain excellent attendance record * Load, transport, and deliver items to clients in a safe and timely manner * Complete daily pre-use inspections of equipment * Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete * Manage pick up and load delivery paperwork accordingly * Assist with loading and unloading * Adhere to assigned routes and follow delivery and pick up schedules * Abide by all transportation laws i.e. log book, load securement and load checks * Maintain a safe driving record * Safe operation of overhead crane and mobile equipment for material movement * Complete accurate daily logs per trip *Skills* * Class 1 license * Must be able to drive a single axle truck * Clean drivers abstract * Ability to assess weights, judge distances and heights * Must have good time management, organization and people skills * Must be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs. * Sitting for long periods of time * Able to work independently or as part of a team * Ability to speak, read, write and understand English clearly * Possess problem solving skills * Mechanically inclined, ability to perform light maintenance and repairs to truck and trailer Join our team as a Delivery Driver, where your skills will contribute to our commitment to exceptional service and efficiency in delivering goods safely and on time.
