<p><p> <p><p><p>Assignment:<p><p><p> Part-time 0.60 FTE Educational Assistant position<p> Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year<p> Possibility of an increase in FTE through out the school year <p> To provide support and assistance to students with complex needs, including ASD, ADHD, and social/emotional/behavioural and academic needs in a junior high classroom setting<p> Assisting with the schools Breakfast Program <p><p> <p><p><p><p><p><p>Qualifications and/or Assets:<p><p><p> Highly skilled and experienced working with students with severe complex needs<p> Experience in Literacy and Numeracy programming <p> Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant <p> Skills, patience, and experience supporting students with complex learning and behavioural needs. <p> Knowledge, understanding, and experience with ASD, ADHD and social, emotional and behavioural needs <p> Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training would be considered an asset <p> Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills<p> Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment<p> Flexibility to work in a variety of programs<p><p><p><p><p><p><p><p>Application:<p>*Applications for this employment opportunity are preferred via email.
