I work in permanent and temporary positions in the Greater Montreal Region. <br> <br>We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations within the Quebec region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an industrial/manufacturing company. This position requires a strong understanding of financial management and reporting. <br> <br>Key Responsibilities: <br> <br>* Financial Reporting and Analysis: <br>* Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. <br>* Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. <br>* Present financial reports to management and stakeholders. <br> <br>* Cost Management: <br>* Implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency. <br>* Analyze production costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives. <br>* Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure cost-effectiveness. <br> <br>* Compliance and Risk Management: <br>* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. <br>* Oversee internal and external audits. <br>* Identify and mitigate financial risks. <br> <br>* Team Leadership: <br>* Manage and mentor the finance team. <br>* Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with business goals. <br>* Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team.</p><p>Qualifications: <br> <br>* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controller. <br>* Experience in the industrial sector is highly preferred. <br>* Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes. <br>* Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. <br>* Proficiency in financial software and tools. <br>* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field <br>* Strong leadership and team management skills. <br>* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. <br>* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. <br>* High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.</p>
