*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber/Gasfitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing and heating systems, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires mechanical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the capability to perform various plumbing tasks efficiently and safely. *Duties* * Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and heating systems in residential and commercial settings. * Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. * Perform routine inspections of plumbing and heating systems to identify issues or potential problems. * Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing and heating installations. * Conduct heavy lifting as required for the installation of plumbing and heating equipment and materials. * Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations during all work performed. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. *Qualifications* * Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role. * Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems. * Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively. * Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the workday. * Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
