<p><strong>Mission Statement: </strong>Homes First Society develops and provides affordable, stable housing and support services to break the cycle of homelessness for people with the fewest housing options.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Position type:</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Permanent, Part-time</strong></p><p><strong>Location: </strong><strong> 101-</strong><strong>121 Kendleton Drive</strong></p><p><strong>Hours of Work:</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Saturday and Sunday, 10am-6pm </strong></p><p><strong>Start Date:</strong><strong> </strong><strong>ASAP</strong></p><p><strong>Submit Resume to: </strong><strong> ramya.rengaraman</strong><strong>@homesfirst.on.ca</strong></p><p></p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Applicants must quote ?CPC-24? </strong></span></p><p></p><p>The Client Programming Coordinator will work with the Client Services team to enhance the well-being of clients by designing and implementing programs, outings, and recreational activities based on client feedback. The position will evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of these programs, respond to client emergencies, and ensure compliance with Homes First policies, including harm reduction strategies. The Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining accurate client records, managing budgets, and ensuring effective communication of program details with clients and staff.</p><p></p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Support with gathering feedback of clients as to desired programs, outings, recreational activities, that would best serve the needs of clients; design and oversee their implementation and evaluation.</li><li>Support the peer worker program onsite in achieving their program goals.</li><li>Support clients through activities such as socialization, budgeting, activities, programming, referrals, and accessing resources.</li><li>Maintain accurate client records, client notes, and complete reports as required.</li><li>Support with overseeing budget and resources to operate client programming, outings, recreational activities, that would best serve the needs of clients.</li><li>Go offsite to support with the purchase of supplies for client programming.</li><li>Complete financial forms and keep track of receipts to ensure compliance with Homes First policies and procedures.</li><li>Support partnerships operating programming onsite.</li><li>Support with the operation and monitoring of current and ongoing programs, provide support, and evaluate program performance on a regular basis.</li><li>Keep data and statistics on programs, events and outings. Record attendance and involvement at activities and events of all internal and external stakeholders including staff, residents and agency partners.</li><li>Create communication strategies to ensure that clients and staff are informed and well-equipped regarding programs.</li><li>Work closely with the Client Programming Supervisor and the Client Services Department to coordinate events, obtain resources and volunteers, etc.</li><li>Intervene in crises, de-escalate conflicts and respond to client emergencies, including overdoses and the administration of Naloxone or oxygen</li><li>Ensure adherence to Homes First Policy and Procedures, including Homes First?s Harm Reduction Policies.</li><li>Ensure that all documentation is completed to agency standards</li><li>Other responsibilities as required</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Post-secondary education in related field or equivalent in education and experience</li><li>At least 1 year experience working with people who are homeless, in social/supportive housing, under-housed and/or dealing with addictions and mental health.</li><li>Demonstrated experience performing case management functions and ability to effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to complete reports and administrative forms</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a col
