\*Overview\* We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages and snacks in a fast-paced cafe environment. \*Responsibilities\* - Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to customers - Assist customers in selecting menu items - Operate the POS system to process orders and payments - Maintain a clean and organized workspace - Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages - Provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall cafe experience \*Skills\* - Strong customer service skills - Knowledge of basic math for cash handling - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Experience in the food industry is a plus - Proficient in time management to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Familiarity with food preparation techniques - Cashiering experience is beneficial Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $17.40 per hour Expected hours: 8 ? 32 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Store discount Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Every Weekend * Morning shift Ability to commute/relocate: * West Vancouver, BC V7W 3C7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Customer service: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationWest Vancouver, BC
