He will also perform preventive maintenance on electric equipment, replace damaged or malfunctioning components, clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Repair, install, maintain, improve and troubleshoot various types of electrical systems and components of the machinery including shredders, extruders, and conveyor systems.</li><li>Ensure and increase the reliability, performance and longevity of equipment: different conveyors, shredders, extruders, filtration systems, and pneumatic, hydraulic and pumping systems.</li><li>Diagnose electrical faults in machinery and provide rapid and innovative solutions for equipment breakdown in order to minimize production interruptions, by using diagnostic tools.</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections to ensure machinery operates efficiently and reduce the downtime.</li><li>Create preventive maintenance schedule based on machinery requirements and communicate effectively with production team to keep optimal functioning of equipment.</li><li>Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards. Test and calibrate equipment to ensure proper functionality.</li><li>Contact the equipment manufacturer for troubleshooting if necessary</li><li>Send a request to the equipment manufacturer to modify the electrical systems to improve performance and efficiency.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections performed on the electrical systems and machinery.</li><li>Communicate effectively with maintenance and production teams regarding equipment status and maintenance schedules and collaborate to identify and address equipment issues.</li><li>Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.</li><li>Following the directives and instructions of his direct supervisor regarding his assignment and rotation to the various workstations.</li><li>Ensure that all electrical work complies with industry standards, local electrical codes, and safety regulations.</li><li>Comply with occupational health and safety standards (example: wearing PPE, safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, etc.)</li><li>Following the handover and cleaning procedures at the end of the shift.</li>
