Educational Assistant Location: Joseph Welsh Elementary 12 hours weekly - Monday to Thursday Schedule to be determined Commencing as soon as a suitable candidate is found until June 30, 2025The successful applicant will provide support in Pre-Kindergarten. Applicants are encouraged to highlight experience in trauma-sensitive classroom practices.Desirable qualifications and attributes: Educational Assistant Certificate or comparable educationExperience or education in early childhood education or Pre-Kindergarten would be an assetSIVA and/or NVCI training is considered an assetExperience in supporting students with communication needs is an asset.Comfortable working independently, with minimal guidance.Good problem-solving skills.Toileting and lifting may be requiredFor more information about the Red Deer Public School District, visit our website at: www.rdpsd.ab.ca This competition will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
