Northern Lights Public Schools is located in the heart of Alberta's Lakeland region, which offers residents a multitude of outdoor recreation opportunities and stunning displays of the Aurora Borealis. The division is focused on ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed and has designated numeracy and student mental health and wellness as division priorities. <p><p>Northern Lights Public Schools invites internal applications for the following position: <p>S2425-17 Casual Custodians <p>We are seeking casual Custodians commencing with the start of the 2024-2025 school year. These positions consist of performing a variety of custodial and maintenance duties required to maintain the cleanliness and care of our schools on a casual/on call basis. The starting wage is $18.79 per hour and the hours of work vary from site to site, anywhere from 4 hours minimum to 8 hours per day. <p>These casual positions are required at various school locations in the Cold Lake and Bonnyville area <p>Preference will be given to applicants who have: <p><p> Physical ability to do the required work<p> Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally with all levels of school personnel and students<p> Ability to work in a team environment<p> Committed to building an atmosphere of trust, competence, confidentiality and positive service to the school and community<p> Previous custodial or maintenance experience<p><p>How to Apply: Interested applicants are required to create and complete all sections of their portfolio through the 'Apply On-Line' link on our website, in the career section.
