Education: Bachelor's degree. Occupational therapy/therapist. Work setting: Work in employer's/client's home. Community occupational therapy. Tasks: Analyse clients' capabilities and expectations related to life activities through observation, interviews and formal assessments. Consult and advise on health promotion programs to prevent disabilities and to maximize independent function in all activities of life. Evaluate treatment progress. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Complete reports. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Enhanced reliability security clearance. Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Eligible for professional liability insurance. Vulnerable sector check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail.
