*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our equine mobile team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients while assisting veterinarians in various clinical tasks. *Duties* * Drive with the veterinarian to various farms. * Move diagnostic equipment (xray, ultrasound etc) from the mobile vehicle and setting it up in the barns. * Assist the veterinarian with examinations, diagnostics, and treatment of the patient. * Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures. * Administer medications and other treatments as indicated by the veterinarian. * Monitor the health and behavior of animals before, during, and after procedures. * Ensure cleanliness and organization of the mobile clinic, including sterilization of instruments and equipment. * Provide compassionate care to animals in distress or pain. *Qualifications* * Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program. * Certification or licensure as a Veterinary Technician. * Experience with horses is recommended, although this experience does not have to be related to veterinary care. * Experience driving a large work truck is beneficial, but not required. * Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * A genuine passion for animal care and welfare.
