Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Pet grooming shop. Tasks: Bathe and shampoo animals. Clip animal coat. Clean animal ears. Maintain and order supplies. Provide flea bath treatments to animals. Clip animal nails. Perform expert clipping on show animals with tools including clippers, shears and massage sponges. Perform dental cleaning on domestic animals. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Efficient interpersonal skills. Flexibility. Reliability. Experience: Experience an asset.
