Opsis Eye Care is a growing, full-scope optometry clinic located in the heart of Downtown Markham. We are currently seeking a motivated and friendly individual for a full-time Optometric Assistant position. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about providing excellent customer service to our patients. *Responsibilities:* * Greet patients warmly and build rapport to ensure a positive experience. * Perform administrative duties including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, billing private insurance and OHIP, coordinating specialist referrals, and managing our electronic fax system. * Participate in personal and team development training, staff meetings, continuing education, and conferences. * Maintain regular, consistent, and professional attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance. * Adhere to health and safety procedures relevant to the role. * Conduct pre-testing procedures such as auto-refraction, auto-keratometry, lensometry, topography, biometry, and fundus imaging. * Assist patients in frame and lens selection and perform minor repairs and adjustments on glasses. *Qualifications:* * Fluency in English and proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin are preferred. * Experience in an optometry setting is an asset, however not required as training will be provided. *How to Apply:* If you are interested in joining a positive and caring environment with ample opportunities to learn about eye health, please email your resume along with a short description of yourself to Dr. Jessica Nhan (opsiseyecare@gmail.com).
