Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work setting: Transportation. Tasks: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments. Maintain work records and logs. Co-ordinate traffic flow of supplies. Prepare and maintain progress and other reports. Assist with maintenance of communications equipment. Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders. Follow-up on issues with work orders. Keep track of shipments. Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices. Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations. Maintain vehicle operator work records. Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.- Location2355 Derry Road east, Unit 1Mississauga, ONL5S 1V6
