We are currently seeking experienced Security Officers to join our team in *Nanaimo, BC.* *Job Duties* * Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Physical ability to stand or patrol for most of an 8-hour shift * Confidence in verbal interactions with team members, clients, public, and emergency responders. * Experience in security is an asset * Confidence in handling emergency situations involving trauma, aggression, intoxication, bodily fluids, etc. * Keen observation skills for detecting and reporting irregularities, such as security breaches and safety hazards * Basic technology skills, including report writing on a computer, tracking patrols on a smartphone, and two-way radio communication. *Requirements:* * Valid BST License * Own vehicle preferred *Pay Rate: $19/hr - $21/hr * *About Securisquad* At SecuriSquad Services, we are more than just a top security company in Canada.
