<p>SUMMARY OF THE POSITION<br>A person who is responsible for providing nursing care services according to the bio-psycho-social needs of users or groups under her/his care. She/he evaluates the health condition of users, as well as determines and implements nursing care and treatment plans. She/he provides nursing and medical care and treatment aimed at maintaining and restoring health, as well as preventing disease. </p><p>She/he plans, provides and evaluates teaching activities intended for the users, their relatives and groups of people. In addition, she/he participates in research activities aimed at promoting health and preventing disease.</p><p>SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS<br>The Uschiniichisuu Life cycle service components aim at providing health and social services for prevention, care, rehabilitation and support of children and youth 10-29 years old and their families. The goals of the Uschiniichisuu services is to help foster health and well-being in Eeyou youth by addressing their security and developmental needs as well as developing their strengths in order to meet the challenges of going through the transitional period towards adulthood. The Uschiniichisuu nurse works in a multidisciplinary approach. Her/his role includes extended role functions.</p><p>REQUIREMENTS<br>Education:</p><ul><li>Member in good standing of the O.I.I.Q ;</li></ul><p>.<br>Experience:</p><ul><li><p>Three (3) years of experience as a nurse including:</p></li><li><p>One (1) year of experience in critical care or </p></li><li>Two (2) years of experience at the CBHSSJB</li></ul><p>Language:</p><ul><li>Fluent in English;</li><li>Fluency in Cree or French is an asset;</li></ul>- LocationMontréal, QC
