*Overview* We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service will contribute to an enjoyable experience for all. *Duties* * Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality. * Operate the POS system for order processing and payment transactions. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations. * Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure customer safety. * Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee, pastries, and other supplies. * Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. * Perform cashiering duties accurately, including handling cash and credit transactions. * Demonstrate effective time management skills to maintain workflow during busy periods. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in the food service or coffee industry is preferred but not required. * Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. * Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is a plus. * Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage with customers effectively. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. * Willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and menu offerings. * Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
