Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Construction site. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Perform routine maintenance work. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Measure wood products to ensure conformance to specifications. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Safety vest. Personal suitability: Dependability. Reliability. Hardworking. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Green job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
