*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. *Responsibilities* * Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. * Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care. * Maintain accurate Charting. * Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area to comply with health regulations. * Manage inventory of dental supplies and place orders as necessary. * Assist with pediatric or orthodontic patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of procedures. *Qualifications* * Previous experience as a RDA is preferred, with knowledge of pediatrics or orthodontics being a plus. * Proficiency in using dental software Cleardent is highly desirable. * Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial. * Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. * Itero and Cerec experience considered an asset.
