*Francl Architecture Inc.* is a multi-disciplinary design firm offering services in architecture, planning, urban design, and landscape architecture. With a growing workforce of more than 85 employees, it believes in the power of great design and strives to make a positive impact on the environments it creates.
Francl is looking for an *HR Manager *to complement its administrative team, support the firm's leaders with day-to-day office operations, and lead efforts to continuously improve people and culture structures*.*
This new role will provide leadership and guidance on a range of organizational, cultural, and strategic functional areas related to the employee experience, including talent acquisition and onboarding, employee relations and engagement, motivation and rewards, performance, succession, training and development, and regulatory compliance.

*About the Work You Will Do *
* Champion a positive and rewarding organizational culture. Collaborate with Partners to develop the Francl employment brand and contribute to setting the HR vision and strategy.
* Team up with other business areas to make the case and build buy-in for HR services and programs. Collaborate on the design and implementation of programs to attract, develop, and retain.
* Coordinate internal and external recruitment, including developing search strategies and supporting the hiring process.
* Oversee, support, and advise leaders and employees in performance assessment and management, mentorship, and training processes, ensuring a focus on development and improvement.
* Drive culture and engagement survey processes, action planning, and implementation of recommendations; participate as a _Francl Community_ member.
* Manage the development and delivery of company benefit programs, compensation structures, and compliance and reporting functions.
* Provide consultative support and advice on the interpretation, administration, and best practices for HR programs and policies.
* Develop and maintain the Employee Handbook. Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and prompt provision of updates and training.
* Oversee the resolution of workplace disputes; investigate and manage complaints or grievances. Advocate for maintaining a safe, inclusive space for employees to seek guidance and support on any workplace issue.
*Your Skills, Knowledge, and Experience *
* Up to date on employment/labour laws and regulations and their application
* Aware of evolving expectations, trends, and technologies in HR
* Capable of leading a functional area and establishing credibility within the organization
* Adept at building a solid internal and external network of collaborative relationships
* Comfort in leading, mentoring, coaching, guiding, and directing employees.
* Diplomatic, and can exercise solid negotiation, conflict resolution, influence, and people management skill
* Able to uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive situations with tact and professionalism
* Strong presenter with excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Accurate, efficient, and with a keen attention to detail.
* Project management skills necessary to oversee moderately complex companywide projects.
* Accountable, self-manager with a track record of making sound decisions
* Adept at solving varied, complex, and non-recurring problems.
* Proficient in MS Office / Teams and capable of learning new applications or technologies
