Diesel Mechanic North Warning System | Nasittuq Corporation Location: Various Northern Sites Type: Unionized, Rotational Position (6 weeks on, 6 weeks off) Nasittuq Corporation provides Operations & Maintenance services for the North Warning System (NWS), a joint Canada-US radar network with 47 sites across Northern Canada. Join us in delivering critical services to remote Arctic locations. What You'll Do: Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on power generation and electrical distribution systems at NWS radar sites. Conduct diagnostic tests, problem-solving, and repairs on diesel engines and electronic equipment. Install and maintain components as per implementation instructions. Interface with Nasittuq's Logistics Support System (LSS) staff and the NWS Command Centre to ensure smooth operations. Travel between adjacent radar sites as required.
