*306-241-5868* *Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle freight and heavy equipment. Our team can assist with required documentation, including work-related permits and paperwork, to ensure a smooth transition. Join us and drive your career forward! *Duties* * Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. * Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage traveled. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. * Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability. * Operate forklifts and heavy equipment as required for loading and unloading tasks. *Experience* * Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). * Familiarity with automotive repair is a plus, enabling quick fixes on the road. * Experience in handling freight, including loading, unloading, and securing cargo. * Skills in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts are beneficial. * Strong understanding of safety regulations related to transportation and freight handling.
