Training will be provided if required. *Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices while performing essential clinical duties to support the overall health of our patients. *Responsibilities* * Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages. * Utilize appropriate dental instruments and techniques to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth. * Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed to protect patients' teeth. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, dietary choices, and preventive care. * Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software. * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as required. * Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. * Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment. *Requirements* * Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. * Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry. * Experience with orthodontics is preferred but not mandatory. * Strong customer service skills to foster positive patient relationships. * Previous experience in a dental office setting is advantageous. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for improved patient communication. * Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus for working with younger patients. * Experience in dental assisting may be beneficial but is not required.
