*Floor Sales Associate * My Sewing Room Inc. seeks a dynamic and engaging sales professional to join our team. As Canada's largest independent sewing and quilting shop, we offer an exciting opportunity to work with the latest sewing/embroidery machines, fabrics, and notions. Role Overview: The Sales Associate will collaborate with team members to deliver machine demonstrations, facilitate machine sales, manage fabric picking/cutting, operate the sales system/register, and assist our clients in their creative journey. Responsibilities include lead follow-up, addressing inquiries about all store products, and participating in product training. This role emphasizes machine sales, constituting approximately 60% of our annual revenue. The position operates within a team commission and sales targets. Position Details: * Full-time, Permanent * 37.5 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Sunday * Starting compensation: $16 per hour for 3-month training period. A wage increase will be based on performance and attitude. * Opportunities for advancement and additional opportunities available.
