*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during each visit. You will play a crucial role in educating patients on oral hygiene practices and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care. *Duties* * Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth. * Assess patient oral health and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Dentrix software. * Assist the dentist during procedures as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow in the dental office. * Manage patient appointments, including scheduling and confirming visits. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. * Work with pediatric patients to create a comfortable experience tailored to their needs. *Skills* * Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. * Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with knowledge of medical terminology. * Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations. * Familiarity with orthodontics and dental assisting practices is advantageous. * Proficient in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software. * Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and patience when working with patients. * Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team focused on patient care excellence.
