*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work on both commercial and industrial projects. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members. *Duties* * Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, or caulking as necessary. * Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the scope of work required. * Rig and set up scaffolding or other equipment as needed for high or difficult-to-reach areas. * Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project timelines and expectations. * Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. *Experience* * Proven experience in construction painting, including commercial and industrial projects. * Proficiency in using hand tools and painting equipment. * Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics is preferred. * Strong skills in caulking and surface preparation techniques. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
