_Do you have experience in operating fabricating machines to cut and bend sheet metal?_ _Are you skilled in welding to join sheet metal parts?_ _Do you possess a valid driver's license?_ The Sheet Metal Worker (Apprentice) will prepare and fabricate high-quality metal products and components; as well as read and interpret shop drawings/blueprints and perform quality checks on finished products. They will also perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism. * Layout, cut, roll, form, bend, and assemble sheet metal products according to specifications * Grind, finish, and perform quality checks on completed products * Safely setup and operate shop equipment such as brakes, drill presses, riveting equipment, shears and hand tools associated with sheet metal fabrication * Other duties as deemed necessary by Management *QUALIFICATIONS* * Preference will be given to individuals with previous experience in sheet metal fabrication or related industry * Ability to work on your own and on a team * Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lb * Forklift experience an asset * Strong sense of time organization and urgency *ABOUT US!* ECCO Custom Metal Fabricators is a full service sheet metal and fabrication facility located in Saskatoon. We specialize in custom and specialty metal fabricating. Providing product to various industries including but not limited to the HVAC industry. We use modern computerized equipment, sheet metal forming tools and various welding equipment. Our facility specializes in metal working with carbon steel, galvanized, stainless, aluminum and other specialty steels.
