Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Construction. Various locations. Renovation. Commercial. Institutional. Millwork/pre-fab shopwork. Residential. Tasks: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Reliability. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
