Parkland Manufacturing Ltd. Is a leading Custom Steel, Structural Steel, O.E.M. and Miscellaneous Steel Fabricator in Saskatchewan. We are currently looking for an Industrial Painter. Responsibilities: * Operate machines or use brushes and spray equipment to apply paint products * Select appropriate paint or mix paints * Ensure that all components are painted to a consistent high quality * Identify and report defective products * Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding, etc. * Operate equipment to clean, wash, strip, sand, remove corrosion and to prepare product for painting * Manage the cleaning and maintenance of painting equipment, ventilation, compressed air equipment and personal protective equipment * Perform preventative maintenance of painting equipment * Other duties as assigned. Experience Expectations: * Ability to read and understand shop drawings * Ability to paint with airless paint guns and conventional pot guns * Understand and carry out written and verbal instructions * Have knowledge of proper maintenance of equipment under this classification * Extensive knowledge of most painting projects and operations * Must be capable of working well with minimal supervision * Must be familiar with all shop tools related to the job * Commitment to workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures. * Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
